The windows of a vehicle are an important asset that protects the driver and passengers. However, when the driver / passengers need to communicate with someone on the outside, that same window becomes an unwanted barrier. For law enforcers or medical teams in an emergency, the decision to open or close the window may present a dilemma between personal safety and rapid assessment of the situation. By using an advanced voice sensor, Intervox’s unique intercom system enables high quality communication with the exterior and / or with separated cabins without compromising driver's safety and security. To ensure rapid assessment of an emergency situation a 2 tone (wail & yelp) siren was implemented into the system. Our newly designed remote control has a special 3 colors led lightning technology which guarantees simple handling by the driver and provides an excellent look. An additional hand held microphone is also available. All features (outside intercom, inside intercom, siren, P.A) are operated from the remote control to ensure comfortable interface for the driver. To ensure installation simplicity all the components are plug & play and can be quickly installed in any convenient position on the vehicle. Adding versatility to efficiency, the systems can be costume tailored to meet specific needs and are available in 12, 24 and 42 V.D.C.
